Well it started as a sore throat but then it got farrrr worse. Thing is that it happened one day after another.
Day 1: Had sore throat so took lozenges, gargled salt water... the usual.
Day 2: Much harder to swallow food and drinks so visited doctor and was given medicines to solve a bad sore throat. Apparently the back of my throat was really red and sore.
Day 3: Felt much worse. Much harder to swallow anything, even spit. Was heating up bad and had to take a couple of showers to cool down. Visited doctor again and was given antibiotics and panadol for the fever.
Day 4: Felt like total crap. Refused to eat or drink because it hurt so bad. Burning up so bad that even took at least 4 showers. Visited the doctor yet again and was given and injection. Had to be done through a tube... kinda like a drip, so that my vein doesn't collapse. Apparently there was a pus ball building up at the back of my throat... gross.
Day 5: Damn much better :)
I dumped the medicines on my bed so that its easier for me to get them since when I was at my worst I didn't even want to get up. The stuff just piled up on my bed. Must have spent at least 300 bucks for it all and all I actually needed was the injection and antibiotics. I'm sure the other bits helped to make me better too. Missed the start of this semester of uni. Too bad... anyways its a proper crap uni so who gives.
